President Obama has finally apologized for his anti-Las Vegas remark. In a letter sent to Senator Harry Reid on Tuesday, the president denied he was “saying anything negative about Las Vegas.” Obama said that his comment was meant for “families to use vacation money, not college tuition money, to have fun.

The president praised Las Vegas as “one of our country’s great destinations” and “no better place to have fun.” Obama also told the senator he had “enjoyed” his previous visits to Las Vegas. The president is scheduled to make another visit to Sin City later this month.
